Weekend finds - Yeah it has been awhile

We found this bench this weekend we only paid $30 for it, which considering it is not in bad shape that i think is pretty good. My hubby is on this new kick of finding things and fixing them up for resale, so you might be seeing this again once it is done. I kind of like it and might not want to part with it but we will see...

Recent finds

These candles were not even lite yet, i spend $2

These are a set of four, you can put tea light candles in them, which I haven't tried yet, but i got them all four for $10 from my moms church who was moving and getting rid of everything. Kind of a cool find for me cause it was one thing that i could keep as a memory of the times we had at the church...

This crib was $75 which i believe to be a steal since my sons was $250 new, we are having twins so i had to invest in another crib, this one even has a drawer under it, and converts to a toddler bed...

This changing table was at the only yard sale I could find on Sunday, Saturday's were rained out and i drove to 5 other spots before finding this one. I also snagged a laundry basket full of baby clothes, only spending $15 for the changing table...

My friend stores her yard sale stuff in her garage and knew I was looking for a dresser, so when she pulled all her stuff out of her garage and found this she called me, and guess what just gave it to me. Her husband said he just refinished it about a year ago, so the finish is great. Don't worry the iron is only in the babies room for now, since they are not here yet..

Introduction

I have been brought up in a family of six and majority of my life we did not always have the finest things. My dad loved the flea markets and yardsale lifestyles. So when I moved out of the nest, I manged to furnish my appartment from findings at numerous second hand stores, and all friends would comment on my findings. Now I am a mother of two soon to be four and I am having the time of my life again hitting up the local yardsales and goodwills just to find things to furnish our lives...so I wanted a blog to show all the cool things I have found, and how I work them into my life...enjoy world...who knows I might even be willing to share some of my "saturday treasures."
